Judd's daily schedule:

Daily Schedule: 6:15am- Arise, pray as a companionship, and exercise.

6:45am- Shower and have a sacred personal prayer.

7:30am- Mission Family Prayer (kneeling)/ Eat breakfast as a companionship.

8:00am- Personal Study: 30m in Book of Mormon, and 30m in Preach My Gospel or missionary library.

9:00am- Companionship Study: 30m- White Handbook, Ensign Pledge, share 1 insight, Plan for lessons. 30m– Short, medium, long lesson plans.

10:00am– Leave apartment and begin proselyting.

1 hour lunch and dinner breaks during the day.

In your apartment by 9pm (unless teaching a lesson, then be in at 9:30)

Plan for the next day (30 min)

Prepare for and retire to bed by 10:30pm

(monday nights, zone leaders be on conference call with President by 9:30)

Basic Rules to Follow: Obey morning schedule and White Hand Book (missionary rules) with exactness.

Only listen to Hyms, always have your companion back you anytime you are driving, can't go into a single lady's home without a third male, use the cell phone for missionary purposes only, go on exchanges with district leaders (if you are a zone leader) and senior companions (if you are a district leader) once a transfer. Obvious one is never be alone with anyone of the opposite sex or little children. Stay with your companion at ALL times. No more than 2 hours of service a week. Avoid service on saturday (it's the best day to tract). ....there are plenty more but i'm sure you get the idea.

Hardest Rule for Me: Music... I love listening to good music and hyms get REALLy old

I am very grateful for the rules that we have. Even though we may not fully understand them, they simply are there for our benefit. All the rules come straight from the first Presidency, so essentially God himself. It is our way of showing Heavenly Father our willingness and desire to follow him and do his work. Quite simply if we are obedient, he will bless us. If we aren't, then he can't.

What can the YW do: Share your testimony with others.. This past sunday Elder Nelson (the Fam we live with) came home from Chile. He shared an experience where in his area there was only one active member. Elder Nelson and his Companion brought these two non-member girls to church one week. Long story short, the non-members knew the only member of the church, and they were shocked that she didn't tell them of the Joy that the gospel brings. I often think to myself how many people in the spirit world will come up to me and say "why didn't you tell me about this?"

I am soooo grateful for the opportunity to serve as a disciple of Christ. I don't even have words adequate to describe it. I have some of the best experiences every day.. experiences that I will never forget. My Hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ has grown 10 fold in just the past year.
