This week was really good. We have seen some trials but also some amazing miracles. Last week we got a referral for this lady that the Korean Elders tracted into one evening. We decided to go by last night. We met her and her husband at the door and they let us in for a couple minutes. Turns out he is a less active member who served a mission in Hawaii, and was the ward mission leader in the Bellevue 3rd ward, but for some reason just stopped going. They are so cool and they just had a baby girl. His wife is curious and really sweet.. We have a lesson with them tomorrow night.
Also yesterday we had a pretty funny experience. There is this church up here called "Mars Hill" (can't remember if I told you about it or not). They are super anti-mormon and whenever we tract into people who go there they usually pull the "Cult" card on us and try to bash. It's pretty ridiculous. This past week we tracted into a lot of them for some reason and just about all of them invited us out to their sunday service. Normally we don't go to other churches but we got permission and yesterday we went to the 4 o'clock service. It was pretty "great and spacious". We got talking to some of the workers there and they gave us some literature and told us the best place to sit. Right as they started into their worship music with live band and all, the lead Pastor and some of the other workers came up to us and asked us to remove our badges so people don't get confused with their staff. Well of course we are not going to take off our tags. We had a good discussion for a few minutes but in the end they asked us to either take off our tags or leave. So we left. "And they were cast out of their synagogs and places of worship.." It was pretty funny but we kept the peace.
